Visitor Parking Information
Parking availability within the Santa Cruz Harbor is limited. Visitors are encouraged to carpool or use alternative forms of transportation when possible. Parking is permitted in any metered or visitor space. Excluded are slip permit spaces and spaces otherwise marked for special use. Parking regulations are strictly enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
Parking Rates
- Visitor & Metered Spaces:
$2.00 per hour or $20.00 per day (meters accept quarters, dimes, and nickels only).
- Concession Parking Lot (Adjacent to Harbor Beach):
The concession parking near Crow’s Nest Restaurant is an automated pay-before-exit lot. Fees increase based on the duration of stay, with a maximum rate charged at $5.25/hour after two and a half hours.
30 minutes or less: FREE
Entry before 4:00 PM (first 2.5 hours): $2.00/hour
Entry before 4:00 PM (after 2.5 hours): $5.25/hour
Entry after 4:00 PM: $2.00/hour
Parking Areas
- Southwest Harbor (Atlantic Avenue Entrance)
Hourly and daily passes can be purchased at the blue parking pay stations located throughout the southwest harbor (Water Taxi Boarding - AA-Dock).
- Southeast Harbor (First Lake Avenue Entrance)
Hourly and daily passes are available from the blue parking pay station near Johnny’s Harborside Restaurant.
- Launch Ramp (Second Lake Avenue Entrance)
Daily parking passes can be purchased at blue parking pay stations near the launch ramp, O-Dock, or the harbor office. (Water Taxi Boarding - Launch Ramp).
- North Harbor (Brommer Street Entrance)
Hourly and daily parking passes are available from the blue parking pay station near J-Dock. (Water Taxi Boarding - X-1 Dock Gate).
- Street Parking
Limited free street parking is available on Lake Avenue when space permits.
