The Harbor Public Meeting Room offers a comfortable setting for small professional meetings, training sessions, and classes, located on the Santa Cruz Harbor with convenient access to Harbor Beach and Harbor Restaurants. Equipped with essential amenities like Wi-Fi, modular tables, chairs, and climate control, this room is 480 square feet and can accommodate approximately 20 people comfortably. Please Note: Audio/visual meeting equipment, including computers, televisions, projectors, microphones, and speakers are not provided. 

Typical Availability 

  • Monday - Thursday: Available until 6:00 PM
  • Friday - Sunday: Available all-day

Not Available: Fourth Tuesday of each month (reserved for Port Commission meetings)

Occupancy 

  • Maximum Occupancy: 49
  • Comfortably Accommodate: 20

Rates 

  • $40 per hour (payment required in advance to secure reservation). Reservation fees are payable in person, by mail, or securely online.

Parking

  • Street parking on Lake Avenue is free when available
  • Metered visitor parking in the harbor is $2.00/hour

Note: The meeting room entrance is in the harbor across from S-Dock.

Other Guidelines

  • Appliances & Electronics: Only standard meeting room equipment is permitted; no additional appliances or electronics are allowed.
  • Noise Levels: Please keep noise to a minimum to avoid disrupting nearby office space tenants, slip renters, and neighbors.
  • Food & Drink: Limited food and beverages are allowed.
  • Intended Use: Suitable for professional meetings, trainings, or classes. The meeting room may not be used for commercial activities (e.g., sales, advertising, admission fees) or social events (e.g., receptions, birthdays, parties).
