Public restrooms and boaters’ restrooms are being disinfected two times per day by contract janitorial service providers, and office break rooms, restrooms, and other high-touch areas are being disinfected once per day.
We are doing our best to provide adequate soap and disinfectant supplies. If you notice a restroom is running short on supplies or needs attention, please email

ATTENTION BOATERS: SHORELINE CLOSURE
|
California State Parks would like to remind all boaters of regulations governing shoreline closures along the Santa Cruz County coastline, as well as the area surrounding the Seacliff State Beach pier, cement ship, and the area of New Brighton State Beach.
All vessels are required to stay 1,000 feet offshore from any state beach within Santa Cruz County. In addition to the shoreline closure, vessels are not permitted within a 200-foot radius of the Seacliff State Beach pier or cement ship.
Please be mindful of these regulations when transiting the coastline. Buoys have been placed between New Brighton State Beach and the Seacliff State Beach pier to mark the shoreline closure area. Boaters are asked to stay outside the buoys when transiting and while viewing wildlife. For more information, please contact State Parks Lifeguard Headquarters at (831) 427-4868.
