Home » Visitor Information » RV Information ![]() RV InformationWelcome to Santa Cruz Harbor. The harbor provides permanent moorage for approximately 1,200 wet-berthed and 275 dry-stored vessels. Santa Cruz Harbor is a special district operated by the Santa Cruz Port District Commission. The harbor office is located at 135 5th Avenue, Santa Cruz. The office is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. The R.V. park is located in the north harbor. Do not bring your rig to the harbor office. The Port District maintains a harbor patrol who are on duty 24 hrs/day. For emergencies dial 911, or you may contact a harbor patrol officer by cellular phone between 5:00 pm and 9:00 am (212-4261). As the officers do not always have the phone with them, please keep trying. RV Parking Areas / Size LimitsParking areas for recreational vehicles and travel trailers are located in the northeast corner of Santa Cruz North Harbor. These areas are identified on the map on the reverse side. The RV. must be contained within the space lines. A maximum overall length of 42' is allowed. ![]() RV HostAn RV host is available for information and initial registration most days. The host's location is marked with a sign. Please contact the host for a space assignment. The host handles reservations. Please do not attempt to make contact with the host after 9:00 pm or before 9:00 am. How to RegisterMost days, an R.V. host will be available for initial registration. Between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am, a harbor patrol officer will periodically drive through the RV area. Please display your permit prominently on the street side of your vehicle. Program Rules
Beach / Restaurant / Etc.The map on the reverse side indicates the location of numerous restaurants and other concessions at Santa Cruz Harbor. Of particular interest to most visitors is the harbor beach, as well as four major restaurants. This picturesque beach is lined with catamarans and has volleyball courts. Food concessions are located nearby. The beach is approximately 1 mile from the RV parking sites. Limited parking is available in the launch ramp, or concession lot area. A free water taxi between the north harbor and beach area is available between 11:00 am - 6:00 pm on summer weekends and holidays, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. An extensive walking trail completely surrounds the harbor. There are public stairs at various locations - Frederick Street park; Mello Lane; and at the bridge (west side).
